NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

 

The Town of Lumberland Zoning Rewrite Committee will hold a Public Informational meeting on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 10a.m., at the Town Hall, 1052 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y. for the review and clarification of the proposed amended zoning laws and for any public comment.

Anyone interested in inspecting the above listed equipment should contact the Town Clerk’s Office, 1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y. 12737. All bids must be in the Town Clerk’s Office no later than 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, with a bid opening at that time, and a bid award will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1052 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y. All bids must contain a signed, non-collusion certificate, and be in a sealed envelope clearly marked BID: SUPLUS OLD OFFICE EQUIPMENT. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

TOWN OF LUMBERLAND TOWN BOARD NOTICE OF 2012 MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Town Board of the Town of Lumberland does hereby designate the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month at 7:00 p.m. as their regular meeting date and time. The regular meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y. The Town Board will also hold a workshop meeting at the Municipal Building, 1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y. ,on the Monday prior to the regular meeting, at 7:00 p.m., as per our operating procedures, with the Workshop Meetings open to the Public.

TOWN OF LUMBERLAND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LOCAL LAW #1, 2012 ENTITLED “ZONING”

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Lumberland on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 7:15 p.m., at the Town of Lumberland Town Hall located at 1054 Proctor Rd., Glen Spey, New York 12737 regarding the adoption of Local Law 1 of the Town of Lumberland for the year 2012 entitled “Town of Lumberland Zoning Code” which would replace the existing zoning law.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the environmental significance of said proposed Local Law will be reviewed by the Town Board of the Town of Lumberland incident to and as a part of said public hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at Town of Lumberland Town Hall located at 1054 Proctor Rd., Glen Spey, New York 12737.

THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year 2012 has been completed and is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk at1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y., where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular office hours.

FURTHER NOTICE: is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Lumberland will hold a 2012 Budget Public Hearing at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Lumberland Town Hall, 1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, N.Y., at which time any interested person may be heard in favor of or against any items contained therein. Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected officials are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor $19,859.00
Councilperson (4) @ $ 6,788.00 each
Highway Superintendent $47,630.00
Town Clerk $30,000.00
