Dates, hours and location for inspecting the tentative assessment roll:

The Tentative Assessment Roll will be available for inspection, without appointment    M-F from 10:00am - 2:00pm, Sat May 17, 2008 from 9am-1pm by appointment only, and on Mon May 19, 2008 from 6pm-8pm by appointment only, at the Municipal offices located at 1054 Proctor Road, Glen Spey, NY 12737.

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 between the hours of:

9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon;

1:30 p.m. and  4:30 p.m.; and

6:00 p.m. and  8:00 p.m.

Formal complaint forms should be mailed or brought to the Assessor’s Office, along with supporting documentation, one week prior to Grievance Day - the Assessor’s Office shall forward all complaints to the Board of Assessment Review.  IF YOU WISH TO APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW, PLEASE SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT DURING THOSE HOURS.  

Last day for filing assessment grievance complaint: May 27, 2008

HIGHLY  RECOMMENDED: File Grievance 7(seven) days prior to grievance day.

          $5000 SCHOLARSHIPS

               ARE YOU COLLEGE BOUND SENIOR?

        HAVE YOU MADE AN IMPACT IN YOUR COMMUNITY?

The Co-op Federal Credit Union $5000 Scholarships will be given to two Sullivan County college bound seniors of good character in good academic standing, one of whom will be attending Sullivan County Community College, who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and/or the ideals of Sullivan Hospitality. So, if you have you have volunteered in your school and community or you have been working hard through high school, but have been an asset to your employer demonstrating Sullivan Hospitality, you may be eligible for a $5000 scholarship.

These scholarships are generously provided by the Co-op Federal Credit Union and administered by Community Unity, four organizations within Sullivan County working to break the cycles of abuse which harm our children and diminish our quality of life.
